Batavia: COVID-19 case sends Batavia High School students online, sacks football game Friday night

Batavia Local Schools Superintendent Keith Millard declined to reveal who tested positive. He said the timing of the COVID-19 case, which he found out about late last night, was the reason he shifted high school students to one day of remote learning.

“These are very difficult case-by-case decisions,” Millard said. “We certainly didn’t want to have a situation where we opened school and potentially had students who we had not contacted who needed to quarantine.”
