Hundreds of them have signed a petition urging the district to let remote learning continue.
“It’s not just my family that needs this other alternative. Hundreds of families need this and this is just the response from a few hours this morning,” said CPS parent Angie Wilson. Wilson has two kids in the district who need to stay home for health reasons.
The only option for those students in the blended plan approved by the school board is a switch to the Digital Academy.
