Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to dose children in Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine trial

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital could soon be testing the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on children as young as 12 years old.

It’s the first coronavirus vaccine trial to include children in the United States. Doctors at the Children’s Hospital are already approved to enroll 16-year-old and 17-year-old children in the trial now. They said this work could save the lives of the most vulnerable because a vaccine could prevent children from spreading it to parents, grandparents or other adults.
