West Clermont High football coach in hospital with COVID-19 symptoms

WLWT |

The West Clermont High School football coach has been hospitalized with multifocal pneumonia, and could possibly have COVID-19, according to a Facebook post by his wife. Deidra Ayers said Nick Ayers was admitted to the hospital Sunday night. She said her daughter recently tested positive for COVID-19 but is feeling better now.

The school’s athletic director, James Collins, said Ayers was not at Friday night’s football game. Just weeks ago, the Wolves football team had to quarantine and cancel two games after a player tested positive.
