Sycamore Superintendent Forsthoefel Announces Retirement at End of School Year

Sycamore Superintendent Frank Forsthoefel is retiring at the end of the 2020-21 school year after serving 33 years in public education. The Sycamore Board of Education approved his retirement during their meeting on October 21.

“The greatest honor of my professional career has been to serve the students, staff, and community of Sycamore Schools,” said Forsthoefel. “But now it is time for me to give back to my wife Robin and our daughters, Megan and Madison, who have supported me in my service to the district.”

Mr. Forsthoefel is currently serving his sixth year as superintendent of Sycamore Community Schools.
