With the new program, exposed students are tested twice a week. High school students in the evaluation will be asked to answer a short survey about their activities. Parents of children who are close contacts will also be asked to do a survey about their child’s activities.
Parents who wish to have their child participate in the pilot program must give consent.
Only 10 districts in Ohio will be participating to determine if exposed students need to quarantine or if it’s safe for them to return to school.
