Springfield Local Schools to return to remote learning due to coronavirus

Toledo Blade |

The Springfield schools will transition to a fully remote learning model over the next two weeks because of spiking coronavirus levels, Superintendent Matt Geha announced Tuesday. High school students will begin remote learning Monday, while lower grades will shift Nov. 23, Mr. Geha wrote on the district’s website.

Springfield had been using a hybrid model, with students splitting time between remote and in-person instruction.
