Annual revenue in the Fairfield City Schools is expected to increase from $96.4 million this school year to $101.6 million by June 2025. But expenses during that five-year period are anticipated to increase from $106.3 million this school year to $125.2 million by June 2025.
Ending balances are projected to decrease from $50.6 million at the end of June to $570,206 by June 30 2024. If spending isn’t cut or revenues increased, the district is facing a $23 million deficit by June 2025.
