Ohio Federation of Teachers announce concerns with state COVID-19 guidelines, vaccine rollout

Megan Mitchell, WLWT |

The Ohio Federation of Teachers has a few concerns when it comes to in-person learning and how the COVID-19 vaccine is going to be distributed.

“First of all we are concerned in principle that the governor is recommending guidelines that are weaker than the CDC guidelines,” said Melissa Cropper, president of the Ohio Federation of Teachers.

She is also underlining another major concern. The rollout of vaccines. Lt. Gov. Jon Husted said the schools will be prioritized only if they are doing in-person learning.
