A diverse group of 55 students from across the country have come together to put on a Social Justice student-led conference designed for educators.

The SEE Summit (aka, the Students for Equitable Education Summit) is a national, student-led social justice event that will radically cede power to young people, including students from Princeton and Middletown schools locally.

Students will facilitate sessions to strengthen dialogue and collaboration between students and school staff. These discussions will spur a collective commitment to advance inclusive, #antiracist classrooms.

Topics will include classroom assimilation, racial and gender disparities in dress code, disciplinary procedures, navigating school systems for first-gen students, teaching REAL history, and so much more.

The event is virtual, free, and open to the public, Saturday, April 24, 2021, 11AM–3PM ET.
