After much consideration, New Richmond EVSD administrators have decided that the district will offer summer school to help counter the “COVID-19 slide” that some students may have experienced during the coronavirus pandemic.
Plans are still under development, but district administrators agree that a four-day-per-week program would benefit students. The district will use money received from the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief II Fund (ESSER II) to help cover the estimated $150,000 cost.
