Forest Hill’s Brian Robinson headed to Fort Thomas Independent schools

Bill Cieslewicz, Cincinnati Business Courier |

Brian Robinson has been named superintendent of Fort Thomas Independent Schools effective July 1, the district announced Tuesday.

Robinson currently leads curriculum initiatives as the high school associate director for teaching and learning at Forest Hills Local School District in Anderson Township, Ohio. He will succeed Karen Cheser, who announced in January that she is retiring after four years as superintendent at the end of the school year. Robinson previously served as executive director of advance placement implementation at the College Board, a higher education nonprofit.

For Robinson, the move represents a homecoming to Fort Thomas, where he spent the majority of his professional career as a government teacher, assistant principal and administrator in the central office, culminating with a nine-year stint as principal at Highlands High School (2008-17).
