Columbus City Schools Returning Students To Classrooms Full-Time This Fall

Debbie Holmes, WOSU |

Superintendent Talisa Dixon announced at a Columbus Board of Education meeting Wednesday that the district would return to classrooms full-time for the next school year. She plans to release more details about student options in the coming weeks.

If students prefer, they will be allowed to enroll in the district’s fully online digital academy this fall.

The nearly 47,000 students within the Columbus City Schools are currently operating in a blended learning format. Students attend classes twice a week in-person and work remotely the other three days.
